Do not try this at home: Circumcision as Art

From all the self-circumcision stories probably the most disturbing is the one performed publicly as an art performance by a guy named Adrian Parsons.

He seems to be a very disturbed individual, who decided that the best way to express himself artistically was to hack off his own foreskin with a dull Swiss army knife in a gallery in front of an audience.

It has happened a few years ago and a lot of the related material, including the video as well as some of the photos posted earlier seem to have disappeared from the Internet ever since.
This was a copy I have finally managed to find on YouTube:

It looks like something that must have hurt a lot, he is hacking away with that dull blade five times for a full 30 seconds before he manages to remove his foreskin. Was he high?

I was also unable to find a proper account of the events, including what sort of medical care he has received after pulling this stunt.

The particularly disturbing aspect of the story is that he did not do it because he could not get medical help, but as some attention seeking behavior.

It isn't clear how cutting off your own body parts in front in front of people qualifies as 'art' and not as 'metal illness', but I am not an art critic.

Whatever you do, please do not try this at home!
