I am not sure that I understand the law correctly. But it seems that in the US until you turn 18 it is up to your parents to decide if you should be circumcised.

I don’t think there is any unassailable truth in the circumcision is mutilation debate as a lot of things depend on your perspective.

Why I am Against Government Involvement

Some demand that circumcision should be mandatory.
Others take the opposite view and want to ban it altogether.

Do not try this at home: DIY Circumcision with a Machete

Even more bizarre than these stories usually are, a 16 year old boy has attempted to circumcise himself with a machete:

This was in an area where voluntary medical circumcision is readily available, so it is not clear why he has decided that trying to hack his own foreskin off with a machete was the way to go.

It is not bad enough that they invent scientific evidence that circumcision causes autism (even though everyone knows autism is caused by the measles vaccine [I am kidding]), the Danes now want to compile a list of everyone who is circumcised in their country.
