For me it is hard to imagine how can anyone grow up and go to college without realizing that he is circumcised. How can one go through a school system without ever learning anything about basic human biology.
So from where I stand this article is quite strange: The first cut.
What is particularly noteworthy that he was perfectly satisfied with his penis until someone has convinced him that circumcision was barbaric. Then he has found out at the age of 19 from an Internet search that he was in fact circumcised and instantly became a 'victim'.
Nevertheless I did find it to be a well written and interesting piece. The author does seem to realize that some people don't share his views, and in fact place a significant importance on being circumcised.
