Danish Nanny State On Circumcision
A Danish group says petition seeking to set a minimum age of 18 for non-medical male circumcision in the country has gathered the required 50,000 signatures to send the proposal to Parliament for debate later this year.http://nationalpost.com/pmn/news-pmn/some-danes-seek-to-limit-male-circumcision-to-18-and-over
So if you live in Denmark and you want to get a circumcision when you are 16 the government says that you cannot, even if you parents would agree.
And this is supposed to be somehow the protection of your rights? More like the government making your decisions for you.

Adult Male Circumcision Can Reduce Hiv Transmission
"Three randomised studies in countries with high HIV rates - South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda - have confirmed that male adult medical circumcisions can reduce HIV transmission from women to men by as much as 60 per cent, and from men to women by about 15 per cent. This significant reduction in HIV transmission also correlates with the reduction in transmission of other sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, herpes, hepatitis and HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)."

Check this out: Circumcision Revision
"When not enough of the foreskin is removed during the original circumcision, it results in a condition known as redundant foreskin. It is also considered the outcome of an “incomplete circumcision.” When the penis is flaccid, the foreskin will still cover the glans, so the organ appears as if it is uncircumcised. From: https://www.pollockclinics.com/circumcision-revision/
For families who chose circumcision this defeats the purpose of the original procedure. Plus, though the foreskin is not entirely removed, it is shortened. This can lead to discomfort, rubbing and a build up of scar tissue, with a heightened risk of phimosis as your child grows."
